The VIAVI TestCenter SPT-N4U is a compact 4RU, two-slot modular chassis for scalable 10G through 400G Ethernet testing, supporting up to 2.4 Tbps of test traffic and 96 Ethernet test ports.

Designed for laboratories where equipment may need to be relocated, the N4U combines scalable traffic generation with a compact 4RU design. It supports multiuser functional testing and can be connected with additional chassis when greater test density is required.
Precision timing and synchronization capabilities support dependable latency and jitter measurements across large-scale and multisite testing environments. Native IEEE 1588v2 Precision Time Protocol support and automatic chassis-to-chassis calibration help maintain accurate timing across synchronized systems.
The N4U also simplifies laboratory administration with intelligent power and fan control, faster startup and firmware upgrades, a built-in touchscreen for real-time system status, and browser-based TestCenter client downloads. Existing TestCenter interfaces and APIs remain consistent across the platform
