Our Founder

Nancy Papineau

“As a Pacific Northwesterner with Native American heritage, I understand firsthand the rigors and rewards of hard work. I am guided by the strength exhibited by my Cherokee mother who fought poverty and separation from her family—and honored by my father and brothers who served our country in WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. Increasing workforce diversity and employing veterans and Native Americans to fulfill the growth potential of Dualos is my primary objective, while becoming ever more sustainable and ecologically responsible.”

When Nancy Papineau founded this woman owned and Native American owned small business in 2008, she had three goals in mind:

  1. Help support her family
  2. Help her daughters and granddaughters understand the benefits of hard work and endurance
  3. Help the community by supporting economic growth and creating jobs.

From the beginning of Dualos, it has been important for Nancy to maintain a work environment that helps feed the minds of her employees so that each one has the opportunity for personal growth, and is empowered to be a visionary while helping the company achieve its community goals.

The amount of time, energy and money Dualos employees give back to our communities is something we are extremely proud of. We are dedicated to give back to the areas where we have a presence. Our focus is to support high quality education in the areas of math, science and art.

Quality is at the absolute core in all we do and touch. It is the key differentiator that separates Dualos from other small businesses. Dualos built its business plan on a quality management system (QMS) philosophy from the beginning. The QMS streamlines and dictates our processes, therefore giving consistent and traceable quality, which promises larger benefits for every aspect of the business.

If one were to summarize “Why Dualos?” all indicators would point to the ethical, generous, community and environmentally aware company philosophy. Our customer service and predictable reliability knows no bounds. The well-known but unspoken motto of ‘always do what is right,’ is forefront of this company’s ethical foundation. Dualos understands that people matter and so does their word.
