VIAVI TestCenter D2 1.6T 4-Port Appliance
The VIAVI TestCenter D2 is a four-port OSFP Ethernet test appliance that generates up to 6.4 Tbps of traffic for 1.6T Ethernet, AI data-center fabric, RoCEv2, Ultra Ethernet, and Layer 2–3 validation.

The VIAVI TestCenter D2 1.6T 4-Port Appliance is designed to validate the high-speed Ethernet infrastructure used in AI data centers, hyperscale cloud networks, and next-generation routing and switching platforms. Its four OSFP interfaces deliver up to 6.4 Tbps of test traffic in a compact 2RU appliance.
The D2 supports realistic AI traffic generation through GPU and NIC emulation, RoCEv2 transport testing, collective communication library workload patterns, and Ultra Ethernet Transport testing. Engineers can evaluate congestion control, latency, packet loss, retransmissions, workload completion times, and overall fabric performance before production deployment.
Comprehensive Layer 1 visibility includes RS-FEC analysis, interconnect monitoring, Auto-Negotiation, Link Training, digital optical monitoring, and PRBS generation and analysis. Layer 2–3 capabilities support routing, switching, multicast, MPLS, SDN, SD-WAN, and standardized performance benchmarking.
